CoArt Gallery presents September Featured Artist JeJe Moore

Jeje states, “This body of work is rooted in the quiet practice of noticing – of paying attention to the small, natural things that often go unseen: a fallen feather, a weathered branch, a pile of stones, the shifting layers of earth and sky. Each piece is like a meditation for me: a way to gather together what I’ve found or held in memory. My process is intuitive and layered, combining mark making, scraping, collaging and glazing to build a surface that feels alive and ever-changing. There’s a balance between planned use of materials and unintended outcomes.
