Heifetz Institute presents Holiday Homecoming

Get ready for the Heifetz Holiday Homecoming, featuring the brilliant young alumni of the Heifetz International Music Institute, returning to Francis Auditorium for a program featuring favorites of the season along with glittering solo works, chamber masterworks, and some special Yuletide treats for listeners of all faiths.

Gypsy Express Holiday Model Train Display!

The Gypsy Express holiday model train display returns this year for the fourth year and is INTERACTIVE – so you can control the trains! Come visit Thomas the Tank Engine and his pals during the Gypsy Hill Park Celebration of Holiday of Lights. Visitors are encouraged to park their cars and walk down to be able to experience the full effects of Thomas the Tank Engine, the tracks and the lovely model village! They are truly honored to have this Thomas the Tank Engine model train right here in Staunton, Virginia for the fourth year in a row! This display was previously set up and running surrounding the National Christmas Tree in President’s Park in Washington, D.C. from 1994 to 2019 and, as of 2022, it has had a new home in Gypsy Hill Park at the Gypsy Express!
