Explore Staunton’s Haunted History
Staunton’s Haunted History Tour—where the past refuses to rest. Step into the shadows of downtown Staunton, on their most popular and longest-running ghost tour. For 90 chilling minutes, guided only by lantern light, you’ll walk the same streets where spirits still linger, trapped between time and terror. From the restless soul of Mary Baldwin to the ghostly echoes of James Vames and Jimmy Atkins, these figures shaped Staunton’s history—and in death, they refuse to leave. What keeps them tethered to this world? What secrets do they whisper in the dark? Discover why Staunton is a true paranormal hotspot, pulsing with unexplained activity. Hear the eerie stories, feel the presence of the beyond, and witness firsthand why some say the dead outnumber the living in the Queen City. Do you dare to walk with them?

Artist Elizabeth Tuttle—Still Life in Egg Tempera
CoArt Gallery Presents July’s Featured Artist Elizabeth Tuttle—Still Life in Egg Tempera. “These paintings spring from my deep curiosity, need for new knowledge, and love for starting from scratch! Creating this collection of images provided another pleasure from the flowers in my garden and the eggs from my flock of backyard hens. “As a representational artist, painting from observation for 40 years, two years ago, I began experimenting with abstraction to loosen up. Recently switching back to a more realistic style, I began working in the exacting medium of egg tempera.” Opening Reception is Saturday, July 12 from 4-6. Music provided by guest artist Gabe Sheets.
