The Three Continents Music Show

Wednesdays 8:00 p.m.

Sundays 2:00 p.m.

The Three Continents Music Show, is an international music program featuring music from Africa, Asia, and Latin America. What makes this show different from ordinary “world music” programs is that it is presented by people from these three continents living in our community. WQSV is not bringing the music of the world to you – we are just introducing you to who and what are already here.

The Three Continents Music Show is bringing you music and stories from the Democratic Republic of Congo, The People’s Republic of China, Ethiopia, and Kurdistan. Our hosts for these shows are all students in the Intensive English Program at Eastern Mennonite University. So you will get more than just the music: you will also hear about the communities from which this music comes as well as learning something about immigrants in our community. Right now more shows are being recorded and produced as project English teaching in the IEP in the former WEMC studios on campus which have been refitted by Physical Plant and IT for this project.
